Birth Smarter in Edmonton with a Birth Doula

Birth Smarter is Edmonton’s new birth doula initiative guided by renowned DONA-certified doula, Suzanne Moquin. Collectively, our caring team of doulas has helped more than 1,500 families achieve a positive birthing experience.

As certified doulas, we have been endorsed by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the World Health Organization as important members of a family’s Maternity Care Team. We journey with you through your final trimester of pregnancy through birth and onward to postpartum.

At Birth Smarter, we want to ensure that birth is one of the most positive experiences of your life. This is why we offer a complimentary consultation with our doulas to ensure a good and comfortable fit before joining together for the final leg of your birthing journey. Pre-natal visits and support calls as well as continuous support from our trained and experienced doula during your labour and birth can lead to a positive and memorable birth experience at home or in hospital. We provide informational, emotional, and physical support to birthing parents. We accompany them and their birth support team throughout the birthing process.
